Sydney Opera House Information and Images 2012

Sydney Opera HouseSydney Opera House, at Bennelong Point, Sydney Harbour, is one of the most exclusive and popular buildings ever designed in the 20th century. Bennelong Point is a headland, initially just a tidal island, that was actually known as Tubowghule in its aboriginal name, but was re-named Bennelong after the aborigine Bennelong, who had his house there. From Bennelong Point, one can get a wonderful view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Sydney Opera House includes five cinemas, five testing studios, two major halls, and four eating places, as well as others. The Concert Hall, which chairs 2679, has the world's biggest technical tracking system action organ, with well over 10,000 pipe joints. The framework appearance like white sails towards the Sydney Harbour, even though the Swedish-made tiles were in fact matte-cream. It takes more than a million items of the tiles to dressed the Sydney Opera House.
